Seller's Note/ INRI refers to the Latin inscription placed on the cross above Jesus, which reads "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum," meaning "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews". This inscription was placed there by Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor, during Jesus' crucifixion.
