Seller's Note/ This a truly curious coin for many reasons. The obverse inscription is missing the "B" in NOB C and is not a die inclusion. The fur-trimmed pteryges depicted on the young Caesar is only found on Trier issues. There is also another spelling error on the reverse with a missing "A" in the inscription, again, not a die inclusion. RIC notes this coin as C3, or rad. and cuir. bust right, while ours is bust left with no cuirass. Excessively rare or perhaps unique.
