Seller's Note/ So, what's an umbo, anyway? An umbo was shield boss used to strengthen the center of the shield. In nearly every case the boss was represented as single dot. In the case of this example, the die engraver took the extra time to add further dots about it! Only a Licinius Jr geek like me would even notice. LOL!
