Copper alloy; 25mm/9.9gm   c. 2nd-3rd Cent

Con/ As Cast; missing spring and pin, featuring a beautiful turquoise patina. Cleaned and waxed.

Seller's Note/ As mentioned above, this brooch is very, very rare. We have shared it with a number of our expert colleagues and none of them have ever seen anything like it. Remember, when new, it was bright and shiny and could very well have represented a Sun symbol. Nice!
